Ornamental Walls & Retaining Walls

A garden wall does not need to have a physical function. It can simply look nice – just by being there.

It can also have a function as well; such as holding up a greenhouse, retaining a soil bank, forming an edge or division, housing a BBQ, raising a planting bed, enclosing the wheely bin or compost heap, helping to provide a flat and level site for the garden patio or maybe screening off your nosey neighbours.

They can create garden areas, or simply act as a garden or area boundary. They are also very useful for hanging gates and building arches.

Most garden plans include a wall, and of course, the Victorians loved their walled gardens; or did they love their gardens walled?

Install a retaining wall, and you can create functional outdoor spaces where there were once there were only precarious slopes. Along with problem-solving, retaining walls also have a sculptural quality that adds definition to the landscape, and they can be made from various materials to create different styles.
